Some of the WORST changes I’ve ever read
Exotic for pve NERF
Kinetic and weapon perks NERF
Build crafting NERF
Ammo for pve tbd (probably NERF)
Split pve and pvp balancing GONE
Explosions NERF
Not a single thing in the developers insight looks promising. Most of it spells doom.
How does a game lasting 10 years try their hardest to make the game as unfun as possible, I was kinda looking forward to the Final Shape, but if these changes are the future for destiny .I might just cut my losses and watch someone else play it instead

I really hope they do a complete rollback on that nerf because I genuinely don’t understand what on earth they were thinking with that. Honestly I just hate PvE nerfs as a whole.

Are we just snowballing with nerfs? What next increase the enemy health to add a challenge? Still haven’t Pre ordered this yet, and I’ll probably wait till it’s on sale

Really bizarre. They could have accomplished so much more……by doing absolutely nothing. Some nerfs, then some buffs to negate the impact of those nerfs…. 🤡🤡🤡🤡. The real message is that they ran the numbers and decided to change some things to make every activity take a little longer….🤡

Once upon a time, when Destiny 2 was merely weeks from dying, Bungie launched the Go Fast update but know they're reverting it back with this Go Slow changes. Conclusion? They never learn with past mistakes.

The main thing for me is when they develop these weapons it seems to me they don't fully test them for damage etc and let the community have some fun with them, do their job in showing how good they are and then say "you've done our job for us and now we're going to tune it down, basically because we can't be bothered to do proper testing".

Moving goalposts. Both buffs and nerfs all around. This will change existing perk combinations again. It will change build crafting yet again. Constant change could work if we had tools to speed build crafting. Current state of the game makes you question time investments in pursuit of exotics and the perfect rolls.

I agree! Bungie nerfs every while making every in game activity 3 times more difficult. Bungie just wants players to grind non stop. This is the only way bungie can keep the grind going... not by making new content but nerfing good exotics and weapons so is more difficult to finish activities. The onslaught weapon drops are so bad too...not shinnies what so ever. BORING GAME!!!! I didn't play the entire week and it felt good...I'm getting close to quitting the game for good myself. Nerfing everything while making all activities super difficult doesn't make the game fun at all....it just makes the game boring and frustrating.

Bungie seems to do this a lot. Gets momentum from some good decisions, but shoots themselves in the foot too often for it to be an accident.

Rotation of meta has been here from year dot so your surprise is not acceptable and must be withdrawn in the manner of a butler backing out of the kings parlour…..bad butler bad.

I do wonder if many of these changes were to forcefully sunset many items rather then address actual power creep/balance. It would make sense. Saying they will be sunsetting Y weapon would be volatile & be met with extreme backlash from the community. But making said weapon unusable would achieve the same effect but save face from public opinion. Its not like they haven't done this before.

And I’m not a Div crybaby but why nerf it again? Buncha 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡 working at Bungie lmao Gun was already crappy enough as is, it does underwhelming damage and it is useless in Onslaught for non boss enemies. On top of that it’s only a 15% damage buff atm and it’ll be worthless with the changes on bosses like RoN planets or any boss with a damage check I have no words. Graviton Lance getting a nerf compared to other pulses , well actually this is plenty words. Just to generate attention to the game. All marketing. Most these changes are horse -blam!- if you ask me, neutering so many exotics and hyping up prismatic and then “sucking the turd back in” as they say here, which means announcing something cool only for us to find out its going to be very underwhelming I will wait for when TFS is on sale for 20 bucks Bungie, Elden Ring dlc is coming and with the horrible BRAVE random -blam!- rng drops I already had a sour taste in my mouth Enjoy selling this garbage to the masses

bungie knows its a way to force players to buy the final shape . you won't have much luck playing the game by weakening the weapons forcing you to run the new subclass ,which you can't do unless you pony up. it's a smart move on there part. l seen this coming . but I'm only playing the free version so l don't care how sneaky there business practices are. think of it as a real challenge .
