My Take on Zero Hour
I'll start by saying I haven't completed it, not even on Normal. Having never run the mission when it was first available, I was looking forward to trying it this time around.
I went into it solo and cold with no beforehand knowledge other than there's some[i]thing[/i] called TR3-VR roaming around at some point. So far, I've failed twice due to timing out but after the dismal failure that was the first attempt I made it farther and in better time on my second.
While I do have a friend willing to help me through it, I'm still going to make further attempts to get through the mission, at least to the end before I decide to tag in an assist.
Despite all that, I've enjoyed the mission, so far anyway, and look forward to making more progress in it even if it will be an inch at a time.
Thanks for bringing back this and Whisper, giving me a chance to play what I missed out on. 👍

5 RepliesI havent beaten this newer version yet either. Got to the final boss room with almost 15 min left, took 9 min just to get the big brig to spawn. This would be a cake walk on normal with just one other person.

You will get it. And always here if anyone needs a hand. Did a bunch of Zero Hour normal runs last night including one sub 15 minute run (13 minutes). Most of my teaching runs are 25-30 mins though. It definitely feels harder than it did when it originally came out, mainly due to the final boss.

I'm doing :rehearsals and reconnaissance into Zero Hour; getting a feel of the mission and getting use to the map. Even if I don't beat the boss, it's an incredible map and amazing to see these parts of The Tower.

3 RepliesI did play the original, but basically completely forgot the mission. I died 38 times in my run, and completed it with 18s left on the clock. I will be going back in a few more times to try to flawless it before going for legend. Not sure I will try to solo legend though, Im not that good, but I enjoy the solo challenge in normal. There are a lot of hidden paths, so remember which one to take without dying is a bit tough. Near the boss there is also a door which does not have an interact symbol, so just be aware of that when you get to the vault.

1 ReplyI ran it for the first time ever yesterday on normal. Went in there today on Legend with some capable friends and it took us twice to finish it. Made it to the boss, but ran out of time on the first run. All I can really say is, get to know the layout and what spawns where

2 RepliesI finished it on normal solo with 2 minutes left. So solo it took 38 minutes, most of which comes from me plink plonkin away at the brigs, walkers and final boss with primary because I ran out of special and heavy

7 RepliesSame here, tried a couple times to know the puzzzles, then completed it normal with only 14s left lol. I am just so bad at jumping puzzles. Then tried 3-man on legend, 20mins to the rally before boss. It’s pretty hard for us who’ve not done this before
