My destiny TTK disk broke, and now I can't access the game I bought 10 years ago without paying $50? What is up with this?
The amount of time I put into this game, and spent on, this needs a solution.
Edit: customer support here is increasingly worse. If someone's bought twice they shouldn't have to pay a third time. Especially since you've made D2 free.

Can’t you just buy a used copy for cheap at your local GameStop?
-
But a second hand disk? I don't understand why you think digital is the only replacement
-
Dlc codes are locked to your account you just need a D1 disc, they're like £2 on eBay.
-
If you want to play it, then get another disc. If not, then dont. The cost is the cost, if you value it lower then dont buy it. Complaining here will get you no sympathy, we didnt break your disc. It was either you or someone you know, or you stored it improperly. It will not break on its own unless left in direct sunlight.
-
Digital is the way
-
Do you think the solution should be free? Its a 10 year old disc that broke (with no explanation).
-
Go get a used copy for 3 bucks.
-
Seen some on like eBay for 10 bucks
-
This has to be some kind of satire. When you bought the disk, you bought the disk, and whatever was loaded on it. If it breaks, then like most other physical products, you have to buy a new one (for the one smart *** obviously this doesn't include things with warranty services). What a weird post.

Buy a copy off eBay for $5
-
Be more careful with your discs. Bungie still does maintenance for the game so they're still gonna charge full price. Besides if you think 50 bucks for a 10 year old game is a lot don't look at the price for old pokemon cartridges. You mentioned you bought the Ghost edition so you should have another disc.
-
That's your fault chief. Be more careful with your stuff.
-
they can sell their product for whatever they want to. 50 for the complete bundle is not a bad price. As for you, go to your local game shop and get it for a few bucks used. You only need the disc for the base game license.

I don't see how it's Bungie's responsibility
