Are We Getting Prismatic Weapons? If So, Will They Drop In All 3 Slots?
Just curious. Don't know if I missed in a TWID.
EDIT: Appreciate the feedback. Was just curious about any new weapons since primary slot is for dark....special slot for light.....heavy for dark/light. I mean......everything else will be melded to a degree. We'll see.

2 RepliesThey haven't explicitly stated, but because of the way weapon slots work, I can guarantee it's a no. At best, we get some legendaries like hardlight/borealis, and maybe some that swap between stasis and strand, but if that does happen, i'd expect them to be split between light and dark and put in their current respective slots.

1 ReplyPrismatic is an amalgamation of the other subclasses so no. Weapons that can switch damage types, like Hard Light and Tesselation could count as Prismatic I guess, but Bungie said in the Final Shape ViDoc? that Prismatic depends on light and dark damage types from your weapons. (Solar, stasis, strand, void, arc)

I'd bet money there's at least one weapon directly designed for prismatic, if not multiple... So yes.

Hard light, Borealis, that exotic grenade launcher, tesselation, two tails, and any gun with osmosis and permeability are good places to start. No reason to add prismatic guns as the subclass doesn't add any new damage types.
