Exotic quest Whisper of the Worm
Quest is not giving rewards or updating quest objective, I completed the quest once and it let me pick quest rewards from Eris Morn but didn’t show up in my inventory and now the quest objective is acting like I haven’t done it at all. The jumping was a pain.

Whispers of the Past is the first part of the questline and will let you earn a craftable version of Whisper of the Worm. In addition Eris will then offer a second line of quests called 'Whispers of the Taken', I, II and III. These could be the 'rewards' you saw. These additional quests require you to go back into the activity and hunt Blights, and will unlock various perks which can be reshaped onto your crafted Whisper of the Worm.
