At this rate, I won’t even get ONE god roll from Onslaught.
I’ve been playing since the beginning, almost every day focusing first Mountaintop, giving up and switching to Forbearance. Not one god roll in maybe a thousand waves. Madness. I give up. I’m not chasing anything ever again, I’m good enough to make due with what I have.
Bungie is disgusting. If my son and friend weren’t playing, I wouldn’t be playing at all.
You still wonder why everyone bashes Bungie? This is it, Rigged drops, not random.

1 ReplyMy dude, you can literally craft -blam!- Forbearance with perfect enhanced perks, and mountaintop is straight up garbage. The only guns actually worth chasing are Luna's, Edge Transit and maybe Elsie's Rifle, and only Edge Transit is the best in slot and not that far from Cataphract. Coup gets outclassed by every other already existing kinetic handcannon in the game that isn't dire garbage or spare garbage, Succession is craftable, blast furnace is laughable and you can craft a disparity with the same perks but better because enhanced, hammerhead is a worse commemoration which is craftable, Recluse is a shadow of what it used to be and Funnelweb is simply better if you already had a good one, Hung Jury hasn't been good in 2 years at least and falling guillotine still has that nerf that makes it useless for DPS and if you want it for eager edge there's 3 other swords that do the same. By all means you do not need ANY guns from the Brave arsenal. They are literally shiny toys for people who want them, not need them.

I wish trading was in the game so I could give away my weapons instead of dismantling them, for me I don't really care about the rolls on each weapon, I'm just glad I got the weapon.

Edited by Collins9875: 5/4/2024 9:42:19 AMI think I sharded 100+ Blast Furnaces, or what seemed like it, before I got the roll I wanted with headseeker/kill clip. It's not perfect, but it will work. Now have that for PvP and a kinetic tremors/one for all for PvE. Stubbornness, focus and will I refused to quit....like a good little hamster.

3 RepliesThis 100%. Destiny 2 is a time wasting simulator when chasing god rolls. I came back after a couple years off and nothing has changed as far as rigged rng.

2 RepliesI had this garbage luck the first two weeks. You play Onslaught 4-10 hours a day and see nothing noteworthy drop and no shinies for days. It really makes you think hard about gaming and its value, because youre just grinding for guns. Guns which never drop for some. And all the casual clowns who come to gloat , have had plenty shinies drop , and then reply things like “its rng, it should stay this way to keep them rare” Rare is fine, but they arent that valuable. And this should be a celebration like the 30 anniversary pack. But then these are the Bungie forums, where every 2Head can post their worthless opinions for free

So because YOU don’t have any god rolls, that must mean the game is rigged against the players. Just ignore all the thousands of millions of players that DO have god rolls because that doesn’t fit your narcissistic theory that the entire game revolves around you.

1 ReplyThis is why I don't farm for any god rolls in this game. THere's no point in it. Even if RNGesus blesses you with a single good roll Bungie will just nerf it to the ground anyways.

4 RepliesStop playing brother, I realised reak quick after playing enough to reset shaxx about 3 times & getting 0 shinies. I was playing for the seal to get all 3 boss kills, it took me over 120 clears to get the 3rd boss to spawn n I'm never touching it again. There's 12 guns, all with thousands upon thousands of perk combinations, & I got 0 after maybe 2000 waves, yeah adiós bungo

7 RepliesWhat is a GOD ROLL? A god roll is a weapon which has mods and perks that enhances the weapons effectiveness, that also enhances the players skills and play style. My God Roll will not work as your god roll, besides I have other weapons to focus. To me mountaintop is not very good in many circumstances. Forbearence is better and gets better rolls "For my play style". Good Luck

I never understand some people's rush to tell others that godrolls actually aren't important, like if you think rolls don't matter good for you, why bother explaining to others that wanting to get a perk combo is wrong? In what universe is chasing a specific roll problematic in a loot shooter

I started with Elsies Rifle, got pissed and moved on to Falling Guillotine, got pissed and moved on to Edge Transit where I spent weeks on it. I gave up and I'm now on Luna's howl and I'm getting pissed again. -blam!- a god roll or shiny, I just want to get two perks together that I'm looking for. Ontop of that I've easily done 200 lost sectors this season just to get 1 heliocentric with heal clip and incandescent. These perks have to be weighted. The statistical probability of this -blam!- not dropping after this many runs is impossible unless certain combinations are weighted against it. Edit: I just looked, I've done 299 lost sectors this season, all for heliocentric.

I got probs 5 shinnys from non-quest rewards week 1. Since then I have gotten zero. I feel like it’s been throttled. Very, very disappointed in this system. Also not hearing any response from Bungie when this is the top concern for Into the Light is likewise, disappointing.

I have a good roll for PvE KT/1FA, but PvP rolls have not happened. I get Zen Moment and Headseeker, but then some trash perk in the 4th collum. Like Headseeker/Firefly. Best I've gotten in ZM/Ramp, ZM/Rapid Hit and ZM/Frenzy. I'd probably be more annoyed, but then I remembered I still have my old ZM/Kill Clip/Drop Mag Blast Furnace that's about to be unsunset from the Black Armory.
