I got a weird idea here.
I think it would be cool if I could sacrifice my melee or my grenade to be able to pick up another Fragment. Or maybe sacrifice both melee and grenade to be able to select a 3rd Aspect.
I have a Stasis Warlock build, Frostpulse with Vesper of Radius, that I enjoy playing. I run around with the Winterbite smacking things and I enjoy it. But I never really use my melee and hardly use my grenade.
So if I could trade my melee for another Fragment, that would be awesome. My other thing is that since I use Frostpulse, I have to choose between Glacial Harvest or Iceflare Bolts. If I could trade both melee and grenade to have all 3 of those Aspects, that would be awesome (IMO). Also, that 3rd Aspect would NOT give you the additional Fragments.
Maybe it's weird and dumb, but I like it.
I also had a Titan Stronghold build where having that extra Fragment would be nice, since I never used my melee either.

I'd sacrifice most melee abilities any time. Melees either define builds or can be easily switched out for a fragment.

Remember in D1 where we had special artifacts. Sacrifice your super (never charges) You get an extra melee and nade charge (would add class ability in D2) And you gain +30 in all stats. Memory of fellwinter. That would be awesome as a next type of AEON all classes exotic. Especially for arc or stasis warlock. And for stasis or strand hunter.

I think it’s a great idea. I personally have run into this problem as well. I usually only play Behemoth when I occasionally play Titan, and I’ve always hated that I have to pick between Howl for more Crystals and Cryoclasm for easier Crystal shattering. I would definitely sacrifice something to have both of these. Now, I really can’t sacrifice my Melee or Grenade, but I would sacrifice my class ability or Super for these. It’s a great idea, but it conflicts with itself. Usually you want more aspects for the sake of ability spam, and you really can’t take advantage of that if you have no abilities.
