Any damn reason at all. Bs match balance like 2 trios against 6 solos then bs maps i wont waste my time in crap maps and when either servers or lag and teleporting become too much of a problem or if i just dont like the team or maybe a name i dont like or because its 420 or because Bungie is trash or to troll someone trying too hard or because i wanna beacuse the sun is out because the sun is not out to pee to eat to do anything else

  • How much of an advantage do you think two groups of 3 has against 6 individuals?

  • A whole team working together with coms and a sense of teamwork against 6 solos that dont play together so for example lets take you and 5 others youve never met and yall play the lakers 6 v 6 who has the advantage the team or the random group

  • Comparing the average group of friends to the lakers is a joke at best. Do you not see how ridiculous that is? The groups of players you are coming up against, in 95% of situations have a very similar KD to you. FPS call outs are also a lot more difficult than people seem to be aware, giving useful information at the right time, is difficult. The vast majority of call outs from average players aren’t only not useful, but actually harmful. Making calls like “he’s one on the left,” will completely screw over anyone in your voice chat that was facing another direction. The vast majority of players don’t know the proper call outs for the lanes and rooms in the destiny maps. Are there groups of very good players, with a lot of experience who play this game? Yes. But they account for a tiny single % of the playerbase, and they aren’t the reason you lose half your games.

  • Google lobby balancing, please. The game isn’t trying to pool only 1.0KD players in matches. That’s never once been it’s intention.

  • Very large advantage IMO

  • If it was a group of 6 I could maybe concede there could be an advantage, but 2 3s I think is really pushing it. A 1.0 player is a 1.0 player even if his friend is shouting HES ONE HES ONE. The kind of groups that run specific comps and actually play around each other in a meaningful way are very few and far between. Most groups are just average dudes talking while they play. I really think it’s a mistake to demonise these people, specially in a team vs team game.

I agree with you, a bad player is a bad player, even if they play in a 2 stack However, as a solo, you will often lose vs 2 players who are worse than you because the 2 players will teamshoot and kill you first. Make that x3 And even if you are a good player playing solo, you can’t pull off a 1 v2 or more - the 1 kd burgers will miss half their shots with an auto rifle while holding hands but still kill you. I am not demonising anyone, if you find fun playing in a stack, keep playing - who am I to stop you from having fun.

  • If you’re dying to team shooting, your cause of death wasn’t enemy communication. It was a lack of map awareness, poor use of cover and weak mechanical aim.

  • Ok Blud Even if you hit every headshot, you will still lose to 2 guns

  • I listed 3 components of the fps skillset. You responded to one of them, mechanical aim. There is still map awareness, like tracking where the enemy team is, listening to gun shots, foot steps and using your radar to not take disadvantageous fights. I also mention use of cover, depending where you take your fights from you are able to use cover to your advantage, done well enough you can mitigate the advantage a larger group has against you. There’s a lot of things you can do, instead of complain.

  • I am not complaining, if I get shredded by two auto rifles a lot of the time it is my fault but 6v6 is a lot less of a controlled environment than 3v3 so I think your points would be more applicable to 3v3. On the whole I really like this new sandbox, deathballing is somewhat of a side effect but that’s ok in my opinion.

  • I think team shooting is a skill and I was just trying to express how two avg players vs one good player will turn out. Using cover is important and I agree

  • Are you kidding me.. do you have any doubt that if you took a million games of data of 2 3stacks vs solos of how lopsided the wins are gonna be for the stack.. so stop the BS pls.. make yourself feel better because thats the only way you play.. or try practical reasonable thought process.. stacks will win it a majority of the time (period)... EOL

  • A 1.0 player is a 1.0 player, wether his friend is telling him someone is one shot or not. It is not your opponents fault you take disadvantageous fights. It’s not Bungie’s fault either. I’ve played quite a bit of pvp in this game, alone, in a group, against groups. Communication in a fps is actually very difficult to do well, if call-outs aren’t planned ahead of time, they often come out too slow, too late and are already outdated by the time they arrive. If call-outs aren’t coordinate beforehand, you’ll get things like “on the left” when you’re both facing different directions and now suddenly your team mates call out causes you to look the wrong way. The vast majority of people in groups are just average players, doing nothing more than talking while they play. There are people in this thread who are saying that they are justified leaving a game if there is a group on the enemy team. As if every 1.0 player with a microphone is somehow a god 🤦 All it is is coping. You have to believe that your deaths are unfair and that it’s someone else’s fault you lost because you cannot bare to accept the alternative, that you did something wrong and could improve. If you could look critically at your own failures you would’ve already learnt that you can use cover to split or funnel up groups to attempt to isolate them into several 1v1s or at absolute minimum, mitigate how long you have to be exposed to multiple sources of damage. You would’ve learned to check your radar more diligently before blindly taking every fight you see in a team game. But you won’t, instead you’ll blame your opponent for your own mistakes.

  • The disadvantage is not just in teams that take advantage of upgrading their callouts... ..its experience with each other.. you can synergize loadouts.. yes you can ...on Burnout you never focus on B... that's 3 players aligned through experience.. and it just takes 1 leader in the 3 to align them.. ...you cannot break down 1.0 kd as the only matter do you understand?.. you would be horrible at balancing the game because people.. not numbers are involved.. Do you really think that over a million games we will see a 50% win rate of 6 solos vs 2 3 stacks?.. you would put money on this.. total BS number nerd.. that doesn't know bigger picture people practical pragmatic analysis.

(obviously this is not just a response to you) Do you honestly believe it is a 50% win rate in this game (D2 pvp).. for thousands of matches of solos vs stacks? This is most apparent in Iron Banner. I think you see the most stacks during an IB week.. the most mercies lopsided one way or another. Bungie clearly could tabulate it in their data... they know. They are sacrificing implementing solo que/freelance for PVP in order to appease stacks. Both in time to match and just pure feeding solos to stacks to gobble up and feel good. They consider players who stack and buddy through all events (PVP and PVE) as their #1 target and revenue potential. For most >> PVP is something they casually hop on in a solo fashion or try to be slightly more than casual in some lists. The #1 unbalancing element way beyond cracked abilities/exotics/weapons is stacks. Notice I did not say clans.. its people on same fireteams. If you remove stacks... I'm not saying a miracle of balance.. but then you can balance the rest of the sandbox. The algo cannot handle multiple humans working together in PVP (not yet.. I guess thats a good thing).. you can always have a team area PVP section.. but the main section is FREELANCE. The biggest thing that can be delivered in D3 is AI (this has so many applications to PVE and PVP and general QOL)... anyway some thoughts..
