Let’s suppose I had a collection of stones. I could list them all as “discovered”, because they’re all right in front of me. If I get rid of a certain stone from that collection, why should I be able to get it back? It’s already gone. The collections tab is more of a discovery page than anything else. To show what weapons you have acquired before.

You're totally and utterly missing the point and not understanding how collection tab works. Recluse and mountaintop are sunset and even so, having gotten them before and having deleted it, you can and always could, take it from collections again. Why? Because it was always the same "curated" roll. What OP is saying, is for all the other weapons that were sunset and had random rolls (hence can't take them from collections even if you had unlocked them) introduce "curated" versions of those, a la recluse, mountaintop etc. so that for those of us who didn't keep them, can reacquire them, at the very least. I think it's a fantastic idea. I voted YES
