Nice argumentation. Ive been using it in dungeons and other 1600 activities, including raids and its insanely good at killing adds and very versatile. Way more than any void HC currently available. It feels very good to use as well. So...no it wont be mid as heck, because it currently isnt XD. Pvp idk/care.

Word of crota is better than kindled orchid.

180 feels bad to use Skip. I have a crafted word of crota. Its not interesting to use in pve for me. Its not "better" its different also. I prefer having my handcanon one shoting ennemies rather than 2 taping also.

90% of your argument is subjective which does not prove its better, in the activities you’re running kindled orchid on anything’s gonna one shot lol

Subjective for the feeling part yes.( and it matters because 180 HC arent really a community favorite especially for pc players) But you dont play with a 180 rpm the same way as you do with a 140. Range really hurts the 180 rpm. Their dmg output isnt impressive at all in pve. And if my 140 cant one shot in some activities it will probably 2 shot or 3 shot i guess. But for a 180 it will be a 6 tap so no thanks XD. Comparing 180 to 140 is not a good idea they are way too different. Btw i played a mof with word of crota in raids, dungeons and also in gm...its fun to make things explode in raids but in GM/master content you wont be able to proc most perks from word of crota. For a godroll kindle orchid with killclip/rampage, both perks helps each other to proc. Added , with the better base dmg and range from 140 HC its way better to use overall. Im already using 140HC in endgame content, including legend onslaught and they do better than 180HC by default. Also speaking of arguments, just saying "word of crota is better than kindled orchid" isnt an argument. A subjective statement at best.

In what way, if any at all

Perk pool, crowd control (destabilizing rounds, dragonfly), self support (repulsor brace, demo). Only place kindled orchid is better is in terms of raw damage boost, but with word of crota gaining sword logic (50% boost) that 8% becomes pretty negligible, and that’s assuming you have the kill clip rampage roll. Not to mention cursed thrall origin trait for increased intrinsic utility.
