Nah, given the direction of PvP and the handholding everyone is doing, this is going to promote distance team shooting gameplay even more.

Changing ttk values doesn't change anything. I mean, among pulse rifles, Vigilance Wing is the most forgiving, but how often do you see it be used over weapons like Outbreak, NTTE, or Graviton? Old damage numbers did 24 crit 16 body, enabling you to kill up to T9 resilience in 5 crits 5 body. It never got it's own buff, but it for some reason benefitted when 340s and 540s got damage buffs around Shadowkeep I think, so who knows what category it actually falls in.

Edited by Kiro - 13: 4/19/2024 2:59:59 PMIt does not change the TTK at all it just changes the "optimal TTK" from 8 crits to 7crits 1body. Its still going to take all 8 bullets to hit. So it would have zero impact on the points you raised. Unless you think 340 pulses are to strong their are no legitimate reasons to not agree with this change.

340s are probably too strong, but they flinch pretty easily, it seems.

Try Elsie's rifle with zen moment+headseeker, basically 0 flinch

I find that hard to believe. elsies has deterministic recoil and i have that roll on messenger adept. it still finches.
