The timer is to buy and upgrade defences, to help us beat the waves. So theres no way bungie will get rid of this and a bit confused why your complaining?

Depends on which one your wanting to purchase or upgrade. Furthest one from the adu takes more than 1.5 seconds to get to.

Yes but theres no way bungie will add that feature, they would have done it for pvp already.
