So in other words, remove the grind and get what you want for basically free? No thanks.
The reason why this sounds like remove the grind to me, is very simple. Destiny at it's core is a LOOTER shooter. Take games like Diablo 4, Warframe, and whatever other looter shooters exist in current day, those games are still thriving because of this design. People are still logging in day in and day out to get what they desire. If Destiny followed the "Remove the extensive grind" the game would be incredibly boring, both sandboxes would be rampant with broken weapons (yes I'm looking at you Forebearance. Even though I have an absurdly large amount of kills with it).

The title of the post already summed it up well. What you say is not wrong, but not entirely right either. Three points: -We have limited time for this farm. -The farm that is bad is because of the exclusive versions, which at the end of the day, is just a skin. -If the farm makes the game tired, frustrating or boring, it will be difficult for you to encourage the player to play. Of course, no one here is an idiot, anyone who plays looters knows that it is essential to have rarities, and the game has ups and downs as part of it, but in D2 it seems to me that it is always in the lows. A game I played and really enjoyed the grind was Borderlands 2. You spent hours and hours to get a legendary exactly how you wanted, but in the meantime you gained a lot of material, money, and sometimes other very good weapons. That's what the Borderlands grind makes you feel strong. Of course, correcting this is not my problem, I am not paid for it, this is the problem of the company that pays thinking minds to develop ideas.
