D2 has the worst PvP ever
Dear Bungie,
You suck and PvP sucks. It’s all about you love child Hunters and cares nothing about other characters. Your weapons suck. Every weapon should be the same every super should have the same cool down time. Your game sucks and that’s why Sony is going to take over 😂

1 ReplyAs a pvp (hunter) player who is pretty average to pretty good depending on the day, while yes hunters may be effective, and i could argue the easiest to figure out in a pvp setting, they are nowhere near as oppressive as you make them sound, they have hard counters just like the other classes, which typically tend to be arc or void related titan players who know their class very well. that said these other factors you list are what make destiny, destiny. if everyone had the same exact guns, static rolls that alone would be reason enough for people to swap to another game, it would be stale and boring with no variety. and the super tiers are self explanatory, could you imagine the chaos one could bring with Goldy or a dawn blade on only a few minute cool-down? hard pass. sure some adjustments could still be made to those but generally they are in whatever tier they are for a very good reason.

Someone obviously doesn't understand PVP. For *most* players, Hunters might be the most effective. HOWEVER, Titans have dominated the usage rates among those who win the most for years now. Titans, not Hunters, are more closely associated with a high win rate. "Every weapon should be the same"... What do you mean? Part of what makes D2 great is its variety. Do you mean make everything balanced? If so, then I agree. What exactly do you think is unbalanced? Keep in mind that even the weapon meta shifts along skill lines. For example, Autos are most effective in low skill lobbies but are considered ineffective in high skill lobbies where handcannons reign Supreme. Every super can't have the same cooldown and be balanced. For example, almost every single super shuts down Well of Radiance. It's not fair to make that super have the same cooldown as, say, Golden Gun. Super Tiers exist for balancing purposes, and you didn't explain why you think they should all have the same cooldown. All in all, I bet you're a new player who is still learning, and that's okay. Instead of complaining about things you don't understand, maybe try asking questions on how to improve.

3 RepliesDestiny 2 also has some of the most unique PvP too. How often are you going to find Skirmish like matches with a high level of 3 dimensional movement on relatively flat maps. Where else are you going to find movement quite as fast. You also can’t compare it to a game like Apex (from my limited knowledge) as despite having abilities that allow for similar tech, the game is more balanced on a larger range differential as it is a Battle Royal mode. There is also the fact that disengagement is much easier and flanking is much harder without some major time commitment to moving around the side of the opposing team to hide and then engage.
