THE SOLUTION to feeling crushed by all the nerfs
Take a significant break from the game. If you feel very strongly about a major reset like what these round of nerfs represent, then I woud say you're dedicating too much of your time & effort to playing this game.
Take a six-month break or year break and come back and play the game differently, meaning play less and/or more casually. If you take this game too seriously then you're going to feel crushed by the inevitable nerfs every time.

4 RepliesId say overreact massively convince yourself its the end of destiny and the weapons are the worst now, then play the expansion with that gear and it will seem far better than you expecting which will make you feel better

1 ReplyI never used witherboard anyway. Sure it’s good but at the same time I just found myself using other weapons. The minor/major/ boss mods were a bit confusing. And why need mods to do bonus damage anyways? That isn’t to say I didn’t try to use them. I honestly didn’t notice a difference with them equipped vs when I didn’t. Enemies are especially going to be more spongy in more difficult content regardless. I’m not upset with the changes but I understand the frustration. This is bungie after all. They have to keep your fun in check. Maybe they’ll roll the changes back sometime after the final shape especially after people beat the raid. Maybe there’ll be a new toy they want us to use and hopefully it’ll be worth it. Time will only tell.

Osteo will still be very good with (and get this) [b][i] NECROTIC GRIPS[/i][/b]. honestly grips provides the majority of osteos power anyways. Div had it coming. We were warned for about a year that it was coming and it still isn't a big nerf. Lament hurt but it was either this or solar Titans or strongholds. The combo is insanely fun and if you haven't tried it then do it before it's gone lol. The nerfs are nowhere near the worse ones we've had and are actually pretty tame.

I took one look through the changes, thought “oh well I won’t be on that much anyway” and moved on

A handful of things got nerfed while a bunch of things got buffs. This happens every time they drop a DLC. 99% of the people crying will be waiting to get on day one when FS drops lol.

A lot of people have taken forever breaks from the game. 😂 Maybe we’ll get some new players though. 👍
