Why did Bungie make my name Guardian when it didn't go against their Code of Conduct?
I signed up with my Xbox Account and It automatically changed my Bungie name from what I had to Guardian. My Xbox Name doesn't involve anything mentioning bungie or trying to impersonate a bungie employee, no hate speech, no personal info like my name or anything, nothing explicit, no profanity, and it wasn't more than 26 characters because Xbox only allows a maximum of 12. I'm confused.

You can try a different name if you have not previously changed it.[/b] If the system is not allowing more changes, there is no way to override it.

You're not allowed to use personal information in your Bungie Name. This is for both security and privacy reasons. Usernames can be seen by anyone on the planet, even those who do not use any of Bungie's services. This is why you should never include personal information in any online service. See the Bungie Name policy quoted and linked below.
